SEAN "GRIZ" MCCLENDON DOWN AT NATIONAL CHAMPS

ODI X Fusion Team Rider Sean" Griz" McClendon went down hard this past weekend at National Champs. The crash left him with a shattered pelvis and broken collarbone. He is going into surgery today to get all pinned back together and start his road to recovery. He will be out for several months. Check back often for updates and information on how you can help Griz out with his added expenses. in the meantime, here's a short video that Vital caught with him in the hospital.

LOPES TAKES SUPER ENDURO WIN IN ITALY

This past 4th of July weekend, Brian celebrated the independence of the red, white and blue in the gorgeous town of Sauze d'Oulx, Italy. Where the beautiful landscape and breathtaking race track was the perfect setting for the second stage of the Superenduro PRO circuit. This race, proved to be perhaps the longest and most demanding of that the circuit has to offer, with nearly an hour of descent and 4000m of total elevation. Conditions that suited the Oakley/Ibis athlete perfectly. There were 5 stages in total, some which required pedaling of over 30 min up to get to the start after taking a chairlift half way up. In the end Lopes was able to win 3 of the 5 stages. Two of which were the longest stages of over 13 min each, where even with a crash off a wet bridge Brian put some time in on his competition. In the two stages Brian lost, he placed 2nd to some real threats. One was the Italian national DH champion who beat Brian by 2 seconds in the special stage which was a secret trail that nobody knew and the last stage of the weekend was won by the current points leader of the series and overall champion from last year in the SuperEnduro who edged out Brian by 1 second. In the end it was not enough for either of these riders to challenge for the overall as Lopes had put in significant time gaps in the longer stages he won, taking home the overall victory. CONGRATS TO BRYN ATKINSON

Congratulations to Bryn Atkinson who took the Pro Men's Downhill at the first Pro GRT of the year. Bryn smashed the competition by over a full second. Finishing third in the women's downhill was his teammate Jill Kintner.

BACK FROM SEA OTTER 2010

We are back from Sea Otter! The weather was great and the event was awesome. Being racer inspired products and focusing on gravity events, it was pretty cool to sweep the weekend with Mic Hannah and Jill Kintner taking the Dual Slalom wins and Jared Graves and Melissa Buhl winning in the downhill race. 12/13/09 - SEBASTIEN WINS INTERNATIONAL RACE IN FRANCE!!

After winning every lap on saturday, beeing the favourite in the main, only to crash on the first straight while going for the win. He recovered good till next day. Sunday started with lots of problems. Through motos he crashed TWICE, but still managed to qualify to the 1/8 final. From there on he won every lap including the main event! This is the first big Elite win for Seb in Europe and is a sign for good things to come when he can stay injury free!

12/5/09 - RED BULL JAMS RIDER COOPER WEBB TAKES 3 CHAMPIONSHIPS AT MINI O'S

After missing out on Loretta's week due to a broken wrist, 13 year old Cooper Webb returned to Mini O's over the Thanksgiving weekend. There he took three championships (85 Mod-SX, 85 Stock-SX, 85 Stock-MX) and proved that he is back at full health and ready to win. Cooper's ODI Lock-On Motocross grips, gave him the comfort and cotrol needed to provide the upset over Team Green Kawasaki rider Adam Ciancarullo who was expected to win all 85 events.

10/4/09 - ODI STREET BIKE RACER KYLE WYMAN

In the world of grips, we've definitely got a lot going on over here. This year we took on sponsorship in the Daytona Super Sport world with rider Kyle Wyman. Kyle's done a great job finishing races and promoting ODI. Here's a little insight into what Kyle does on a regular weekend. I've seen dude's jump off 100 foot drops on mountain bikes, but this guy is insane!

03/02/09 - TROY LEE RACING GETS FIRST VICTORY OF 2009

ODI Sponsored Troy Lee Racing's Jake Moss returned to the team and made his 2009 supercross debut at Anahiem 3. During the long break, he and rookie Sean Borkenhagen decided to race the Reno Arena Cross event. Jake swept his heat races and claimed to victories in two classes while "Borky" earned his first podium. Congratulations Guys!

MIKE DAY WINS AT PERRIS

ODI Rider, Mike Day was victorious at the ABA races at Lake Perris this past weekend. Mike defeated GT teammate Joey Bradford and fellow ODI rider via team Free Agent, Maris Strombergs. Congratulations! to both Mike and Maris on their podium finishes! It looks like this is going to be an exciting season watching the battle between these two Olympic Medalists.

1/5/08 - TROY LEE RACING BARELY MISSES PODIUM

The Troy Lee Racing Team made their 09 supercross season debut this last weekend at Anaheim 1. Chris Blose barely missed the podium after getting passed by Ryan Dungey. Sean Borkenhagen had an impressive 12th place finish in his first ever Supercross Lites race, and Steve Boniface started strong but got caught up in a racing incident and finished 17th. It's hard to believe it's been 17 years since Don Jackson held the 1st annual SRC Challenge. This year he started a new form of racing with the indoor Mountain Arena Cross during Interbike week.
